CALL ME @ 760-488-7312

I have been contacted to re home Anatolian dogs from time to time   contact me if your in need of a good LGD.

Velky, Misty, Ruby and Zeus's placement was a great success. Whoa, Bowie was a learning experience

my goal is not to rehome! BUT if your having a problem please speak to me. I can and will help.

As a breeder, I am focusing on Live Stock Guardians and their abilities to guard livestock from small predators to coyotes, stray dogs, big cats all the way to bear (don't expect one dog to handle bear but good chance 3 or more can). I like a good powerful neck with lots of extra skin. If in a fight the predator will get the skin and not the throat is my thought.

Many of my pups go to  families. Temperament is of utmost importance. It is your job as a new owner to socialize the pup. No socialization can make a dangerous dog. Anatolians are a very loving dog and can be sensitive to punishment. These dogs need to be introduced to incoming visitors. If the visitor comes back unannounced later he will not likely get a free pass ~ got to come through with the owners permission. Team work.

To do this highly rated job the dog needs to have good health and confirmation. The dog needs to have guidance (your job, I will advise,  let me know your concerns). This dog is an independant dog, thinking for it's self but wants to please their owner.  I hope to sell you a clean slate where the pup has only known a gentle but firm hand by the time you get him or her. I have fowl, sheep and there is a cat. Alpacas are gone now I couldn't delete the pictures though. I love visitors to see the pups it helps with socialization. You can also meet the 2 adult females and my male stud muffin, Noble.  I will be glad to sit and talk Anatolians with you.  Any question I can't answer I can find the answer to.

Birnici's Heavenly Hope of Jubilee

Elbows normal, Hips good, Thyroid good
It pains me to say this but Jubilee isn't much of a guardian. I will concentrate on breeding her with a strong working guardian male. This isn't to say she doesn't have value she is a lover and would protect her people...I've been told she is 'substantial'  I like this as in a pinch she will not let her co workers down  but prefers to be a lover. She  comes from some nice stock so showing a pup of hers might be an idea. Jubilee has some show points but showing isn't my thing. Sometimes your pup is picked for you she was picked for me as a good breeding dog. Isn't she lovely?

10-7-21 87.8 lbs. surpassed Libby by 2/10 of a lbs. Might have been taken down a notch when handled for show work. Loves the show thing though. Still not much of a barker and very curious loves chewing on my water buckets.

Clear Creek Matilda RIP 1-8-2016 ~1-2-2024

probably cancer she went fast
Mattie and I went a lot of places...we drove in an RV across the states after picking her up in Kentucky at about 3 months old. We went to Calico Ghost town then camping up 395 with my son. After a Tractor Supply run I decided no more outings she was too protective of me. At about 7 years she decided she was didn't like the intruders I brought in Liberty and Jubilee. Mattie tolerated Libi and Lib gave a wide breath to her. Jubilee was another matter  Mattie had a definite dislike for. So the dogs were kept separated.  Everyone got patio time much to my son's dislike.

WOVOKA  Mattie/Tuson 10-23-21

Wovoka- Bishop Ca.  Christopher and Victoria Proud loving owners.

Hello Cindy. It has been one year that we picked up Wovoka from his birth home and boy has he been the best addition to our land, home and family! He has the loudest toned bark and howls long and hard everyday when the noon whistle rings. Wovoka is strong, fast and so intelligent. A day doesn't go by without any inquiry from a passerby or a stranger on the street about his breed, probably due to his size and commanding presence, he is absolutely the most handsome AS we've seen. We love him tremendously and he has certainly stood up to his traits and character as an ancient breed. He loves his home on tribal land with us and protects and guards faithfully. His home in the Owens Valley is a perfect fit, so many places to explore. He also travels well as we are so remote and he goes everywhere we go. We cannot thank you enough for your handling and lessons to ensure he was ready for us and we for him. Have a wonderful new year!

Ella (Ruby x Max)

Hi Cindy,
It's so nice to hear from you! Hope you are well! Ella is doing wonderfully! She has developed into the perfect guard dog - she scares the pants off of anyone who walks up to the front door, but as soon as she sees that I know them and like them, she is so excited to get pets! She has also done wonderfully against the coyotes. My friend lives just down the street and has two small dogs. They were all out in her yard one night and a coyote appeared on the other side of her wrought-iron fence. The two small dogs ran terrified, but Ella went into protection mode and did that deep, super-scary bark and ran towards the coyote. The coyote immediately turned and ran for the hills! My neighbor actually told me yesterday that the people who used to live in our house were walking their sheltie, and a coyote ran up and dragged the sheltie off into the hills. That story made me SO thankful to have Ella.

She has decided to go full-on teenager! She used to always come as soon as we called, and we actually walked her off-leash every night. Now, however, she's decided that mom and dad don't know anything, and she's going to go where she wants! I know that's a combination of her being a teenager and being an Anatolian. Overall we love how independent she is. She spends most of the day outside exploring, and comes and goes inside as she pleases. She still sleeps inside at night, but she has free roam of the house. She is the most non-destructive dog I've ever seen, which I'd love to attribute to good parenting, but I have a feeling is just luck!

Cindy, we are happy to have you use us as satisfied customers! We are more than satisfied." Maybe you remember Sophia the pup with the 'puppy shower'. " We headed home the next morning for a 13 hour drive.  She got car sick headed up 395 toward Kramer Junction.  We stopped and got her cleaned up and after that, it was smooth sailing.  She got out and charmed everyone she met when we stopped (particularly one little blond girl who reminded us of the picture of your granddaughter!).  Sophie went right up to her and wanted to be held!  She looked out her crate at the passing countryside and eventually fell asleep.  She has really been a joy!  She's very much a BIG PUPPY, but we knew that and are so looking forward to having her with us.  Thank you so much for everything!"  Sue and Ernie

'We took Sophia to the vet yesterday and wanted to share with you that her health is excellent!  She was so good with the vet, no complaints and wagged her tail the entire time." Sue and Ernie

Update on Sophia at 8 months of age
She weighs over 90 lbs. now and not an ounce of fat.  She has a toy gorilla (huge fluffy thing) that she was given at her puppy shower.  I thought, "Oh, boy!  This thing will be gone within minutes!"  Not so, she adores her gorilla!  She cuddles it, plays with it and takes it to Ernie to play fetch.  She has eaten every other toy, but not her gorilla!  The other day, I was vacuuming the living room.  She hates the vacuum!  But her gorilla was in the living room with me and the minute I headed into another direction, she dashed over, picked up her gorilla and raced into the next room and shoved the gorilla into a corner.  I was thinking what the heck is going on?!  Then I realized, she was rescuing her gorilla!!!

To say that we love her is an understatement.  She brings us joy and laughter every day!

I am very impressed with Atticus, he has won every-ones hearts here and is soooooo good with the Llamas, good with the chickens and well, you saw him and the Kitty~cat! Maybe you could forward her link to some llama people...
Chris

 Hi Cindy,
Thought I'd say "Hi" and send some pictures of our/your "Atticus". He is the star around here, poor Rebel, she gets looked over because of our Gentle Giant. Everyone is drawn to him and after many years of German Shepherds I think I'm hooked.
Thanks for raising such amazing animals!
Chris

Isn't he just gorgeous? Maybe I feel that way cause he is my baby I don't know, but to me he is show quality. I am shocked at how big he is and he isn't even a year old yet, but I love it!  I am a very happy customer :D You can use it on the site if you want because I meant every word. I promised you that I would keep in contact. You are a very nice lady and you blessed our family tremendously. I would help out in any way that I could by referring people to you and I would come back for myself for sure. So if you can use the letter to help the site that is great!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Hi Cindy,

Just wanted to let you know that Yogi is doing wonderful.  He is huge, healthy, very loving, and absolutely beautiful. He is protective of us and his house. He makes us all laugh a lot. He is extremely vocal which we love. My daughters are singers and do plays and shows and when they rehearse he sings with them. We have some funny videos where he cuts in and sings his own parts. You were very honest with me about this type of dog not being for inexperienced dog owners.  You were right. Yogi was very stubborn and was determined to do some things his way initially. Without experience he would have been a real challenge in some areas. I must say though that these are highly intelligent dogs making them somewhat easy to train and break of stubborn behavior if you know what you are doing. He was house broken in one month and knew sit, shake, and lay down by three and a half months of age. One of the smartest dogs I have owned.

I am extremely happy that we got him and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a healthy, loving, Guard dog.

I hope to have him for many years, but I wouldn't hesitate to contact you again for another Anatolian Shepard if we ever wanted another dog.  I included pictures so that you could see just how big, healthy and Beautiful he is. He is happy and so are we. He was meant to be part of our family. So thank you for doing what you do and blessing families with such wonderful dogs!

Take care and God bless,

Melissa

 Dear Cindy,

Well....Sadie is everything we hoped for!!  She was perfect on the car ride home....threw up a small bit only once.  She slept the whole way except for the two stops we made.  We took her out of the car both times and she already showed off her guard dog ability.  A man and his big dog walked over towards us, she walked over to my side and growled and gave a warning bark.....it was so cute.  The man even noticed and said, "look how she is protecting mom".  When we got home she barked at our Shepherd, but came out of the kennel with a little push and has followed him around even since.  She slept in the house in her kennel and was quite all night.  When she saw me walk to her kennel in the morning, all I heard was her tail banging back and forth:)  We all went outside....she waited for Iceman to eat and then she ate her food.  She then took a walk around the property with Herb and Iceman to learn the lay of the land.  Right now she is laying, nose to butt with Iceman on the kitchen floor....snoring away.  She is a wonderful pup.  Thank You for raising such a sweetie.  We will keep you posted on her new adventures.

Sincerely,
Chris and Herb
